Let us introduce ourselves: We are the Academy of Engineering and Automotive of the HAN University of Applied Sciences. With around 300 colleagues, we offer internationally oriented full-time and part-time engineering and automotive education to over 2,600 students. Within the academy, we have three research group clusters – where leading applied research is conducted and where we have an excellent rating on our impact – and two national centres of expertise: ACE Mobility and SEECE. The position of professor is linked to the Lean & World Class Performance professorship.
At the professorship of Lean & World Class Performance we work to develop and propagate knowledge about smart technologies and their deployment. We do so together with industry, students and researchers, true to our nature as a university of applied sciences. We are scientifically sound and practically relevant. We were recently awarded the label excellent on impact at our accreditation. Through our work we affect the way business run their production and the way operators and team lead run their day-to-day work. This is a source of pride and a responsibility we take very seriously.
